Soybean Oil has been riding the downward channel to lower levels.  Despite the continued move down in price, hedge funds have the largest net longs for the past 52 weeks. Hedge funds have an estimated 29,346 net long contracts as of the Friday close.  That is over 67,000 contracts above the average net short position of (37,657) and over 122,000 above the lowest level of the past year.
